In recognition of its commitment to serving the consumers with strong connectivity, advanced mobile data options, and enriched digital content, Singtel won Asia’s Best Mobile Carrier award at the recent Telecom Asia Awards 2018.
According to the Managing Director for Enterprise Data and Managed Services, Group Enterprise, Singtel, Mr. Francis Fong, since Singtel is aware of the necessity of their enterprise customers to transform their business digitally, and also as the response to the digital transformation era, Singtel commits to provide an advanced cloud-based service.
For their initiative to serve in this area, in the same event, Singtel was also recognized as the Best-Cloud Base Service for providing an extensive series of services for public, private, and hybrid cloud platforms to assist companies to transfer the business applications and databases from into cloud with no hassle.
These awards are the proof that Singtel pays intense attention to the customer’s need constantly that they decided to continuously invest in network and innovation to satisfy the consumers. Ms Gian Sook as the Vice President for Mobile Marketing and Sales, Consumer Singapore, states, “We are also reinventing the way customers interact with us by creating a seamless omnichannel experience across both online and offline touchpoints. Singtel itself has been acknowledged as a public company in October 1993. During its years of operation, Singtel ever lost its domestic monopoly due to the deregulation implemented by the Singaporean government in 2000. Yet it regained its power back in 2001 by purchasing Optus for more than $7 billion. Right now, Singtel is known as the biggest Singaporean mobile network operator.
